About Us

The mission of AEE is "to promote the scientific and educational interests of those engaged in the energy industry and to foster action for Sustainable Development."

NorCal AEE has nearly 100 members. Our vision is to engage the Northern California energy industry, through energy education and professional networking, in order to promote sustainability and energy mindfulness in our communities. The chapter provides members and guests an opportunity to connect in a relevant way to the energy efficiency industry with tours, meetings, and presentations by subject matter experts.

Of special importance to the chapter is our connection with the future leaders of industry as we work to build the future by providing guidance, mentorship, and scholarship support to students of local colleges and schools.

NorCal AEE, founded more than 10 years ago, is an active chapter in the local community and holds monthly events throughout the year. We also offer scholarships to students enrolled at colleges in Northern California who are interested in pursuing a career in energy.
